El futuro de la educación pública se juega este martes 5 de septiembre. Tras múltiples esfuerzos por hacer del Proyecto de Ley de Universidades Estatales uno que represente realmente las necesidades y propuestas de las comunidades universitarias, podremos ver los frutos.
A las 15:00 hrs. se votará la idea de legislar en la Comisión de Educación de la Cámara de Diputados y los parlamentarios tendrán la posibilidad de expresar su voluntad política de construir una ley orientada al fortalecimiento de nuestras universidades estatales.
Llamamos a los parlamentarios a rechazar la idea de legislar si no se acogen plenamente nuestras demandas pues para iniciativas que buscan reemplazar a la comunidad universitaria por representantes externos, precarizar la labor funcionaria y mantenernos en el autofinanciamiento y estrechez de oferta académica, mejor no tener proyecto de ley.
Las comunidades nos convocamos a manifestar nuestro rechazo al actual contenido del Proyecto de Ley y a exigir que el Mineduc atienda nuestras demandas por democracia, autonomía, estabilidad laboral, aumento significativo de matrículas y financiamiento.
Cronograma Martes 5 de septiembre
- 10:30: Marcha nacional. En Santiago desde Plaza Italia hasta Los Héroes.
- 15:00: Votación en comisión de educación.
¡Sólo la unidad y la movilización nos dará la victoria!
